Bridal Creation Process
Stephanie D.’s custom design process begins with a one‐on‐one meeting with Stephanie. In that meeting,
you will work together to produce a sketch of your ideal dress by matching form, and function to
elements of design, style, and your personality and figure. You’re encouraged to bring pictures of
inspiring gowns in addition to your personal concepts.
Once you are satisfied with the design, fabrics enter the process. You may choose from a selection of
swatches, which include a range of quality laces and silks.
Once the design process is finalized, Stephanie and her staff will take a thorough set of measurements.
Using these measurements, a pattern will be drafted and a toile or “mock up” will be created as the gown is crafted.
These steps will occur over a process of three to five appointments, which will be scheduled over
an appropriate timeline to ensure that your gown is completed in time for your wedding day.
In addition to design, the chosen fabrics and specific areas of detailing will dictate the price of the dress.
